Arriba! Amanda Bynes Celebrates 28th Birthday in Mexico

Amanda Bynes is soaking up the Mexican sun for her 28th birthday.

The "Hairspray" actress, who officially turned 28 on Thursday, took to Twitter on Saturday to share a couple snaps from her birthday getaway to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and thank her fans for their celebratory wishes.

"Thank you everyone for all the birthday wishes," Bynes tweeted alongside a snap of her bikini bod.

She shared another sweet snap on Twitter, where she was wearing the same neon yellow bandeau bikini, and kicking back on a lounge chair.

Bynes, who gave up acting to pursue a career in fashion, looked happy and healthy in the tropical photographs. She is currently on break from her classes at the Fashion Institute of Design & 

 Merchandising, where she recently enrolled.

Her parents, Rick and Lynn, joined her on the fun vacay.

The former Nickelodeon star has come a long way since her 27th birthday. She's put the majority of her legal troubles from the past year, which included a misdemeanor driving offense, two other hit-and-run cases, and the bong-throwing incident, behind her. A majority of the cases were tossed out and Bynes is currently under the legal guardianship of her parents.

It certainly looks like the "All That" actress is back on track. This latest round of photos show that things are certainly looking refreshing and bright for her, and we're not just talking about that south-of-the-border sunshine!
