The BAFTAs 2014 Nominations Revealed

AMERICAN HUSTLE will go head-to-head with 12 Years A Slave for Best Film in the 2014 BAFTAs, as this year's nominations are announced. Other films to be shortlisted included Captain Phillips, Gravity and Philomena.

The list largely echoed the Golden Globes nominations, which were released last month. Cate Blanchett, Judi Dench and Sandra Bullock were once again nominated for Best Actress, while Leonardo DiCaprio, Christian Bale and Bruce Dern vie for Best Actor.

The Outstanding British Film prize will be fought for by Gravity, Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom, Philomena, Rush, Saving Mr Banks and The Selfish Giant.
