JUST because the long-mooted Sex and the City 3 film has never materialised doesn't mean that Sarah Jessica Parker is taking a creative hiatus - she's adding a new, if slightly surprising, role to her already bulging multi-hyphenate CV: greeting card designer.
Ok, so it may not be quite as glamorous as helming Halston, or creating a footwear line with a former Manolo Blahnik executive, but the collaboration with Hallmark appealed to Parker's "love of the written word" - and is sure to give us all a sparkly way to say "Happy Birthday", "Congratulations" or "Sorry You Lost Your Choos".
"I love cards, I always have," Parker told WWD. "I'm a big believer in the power of a hand-written note, so I was very interested in being involved with this project."
The collection, which launches later this week, will also feature stationery and wrapping paper - all embellished with glitter and gems in a style that would make Carrie Bradshaw proud.
