THE new Style-Eyes app is going to provide some fashion fun this
Christmas. Promising to be the genuine "Shazam for fashion", it
uses high-quality-image recognition - so when you see something you
like but someone else is wearing it, you simply take a photograph
and the free app will tell you where you can buy it - or present
plenty of other similar options.
Having worked with hundreds of stores to keep the product listings up to date, the app creators Mark Hughes, Bobby Pringle and Oisín Mac Fhearaí have
created search results organised by brand or price and promise discount codes throughout.
"Fashion is visual, we shop with our eyes, and for the 79 per cent of people who use their mobile phone to help them shop, we wanted to give them a set of digital eyes to find what they really want," says Pringle.
